Reviews:
The Dawn has a few flaws but is still one of the better and more engaging nun-centric horror films to be released recently. Most of the actors, but especially lead Devanny Pinn, are stellar. The directing maintains an ominous atmosphere, plus the characters’ goals and motivations are clear and well-written.” 7.5/10 Film Threat

“Fans of The Conjuring films should be pleased with The Dawn […] The film touches on PTSD, living with the sins of the father, and the sincere struggles of keeping faith with a delicate and thoughtful approach. And when the sh*t hits the fan, Slagle puts the pedal to the metal into possession territory with the ferociously good Devanny Pinn.” Morbidly Beautiful

The Dawn is a film that comes steeped in its Catholicism and gives the impression of being written by somebody in the know. On the other hand, I did have difficulty working out what was going on. Things became particularly confusing when Brandon Slagle pulls an M. Night Shyamalan-esque twist on us near the end of the show…” Moria

” …a tension-filled experience from start to finish. Within an hour and a half, the film is slathered in an ominous vibe that keeps you on the edge of your seat. You’ll want to see it through till the end and trust me, you don’t want to miss it. I’d recommend The Dawn to any casual horror viewer and even die-hard horror fanatics.” Nightmarish Conjurings

“The last minutes of this film really surprised me and gave me an entirely different perspective on what I had just experienced. If you are looking for an action-filled, creative kills sort of horror film then The Dawn is not for you. But if you like a slow-burn, makes your skin crawl, and keeps you guessing type of horror then you should check out The Dawn.” 9/10 We Live Entertainment
