ATTACK OF THE TATTIE-BOGLE (2017) Reviews and overview

Attack of the Tattie-Bogle is a 2017 American horror film directed by Pete Marcy from a screenplay co-written with Adam Anderson and Joe Marcy. The Failureboys production stars Rob Jones, Joe Marcy, Devon Jorlett and Marie Weiss.

Plot:

A group of unlikely bunkmates gathers at a mutual friend’s cabin in remote Wisconsin. Armed with all the comforts of urban life, they are ready to celebrate Independence Day; but when the group is attacked, they are sent reeling.

Confused, scared, and unprepared to handle real danger, survivors are forced to battle fears, balance egos, and summon their courage – or die…

Reviews:

Attack of the Tattie-Bogle is a lean and mean slasher film that’s light on character development and glossy production values. If audiences simply go along for the ride, however, they’ll discover that this microbudget labour of love is a quick, fun thrill ride.” B*tch Stole My Remote

“Despite some dubious acting and dialogue in places, director Pete Macy offers a delightfully savage look at the slasher genre in which the brutal reality shines through and becomes its champion. Check this out to see a low budget, bloody film which pits the question of what would you do when confronted with an ambush in a land far removed from your own.” Surgeons of Horror
