The Whistler – Venezuela, 2018

The Whistler – original title: El Silbón: Orígenes – is a 2018 Venezuelan supernatural horror feature directed by Gisberg Bermudez from a screenplay co-written with his sibling Gisyerg Bermudez. The movie stars Daniela Bueno, Yon Henao Calderón and Eliane Chipia.

The plot is inspired by El Silbón, the South American folk tale involving an evil spirit that feasts on children, the drunk and the unfaithful.
