HENS NIGHT (2016) Reviews and overview

‘It’ll be a night to remember… if they survive!’
Hens Night is a 2016 Canadian dark comedy horror film directed and edited by Kristian Lariviere (Unholy Night; Monster Pool: Seven Deadly Sins; Betting the Devil Your Head: Tales from Poe) from a screenplay by Jennifer Allanson, who also stars, alongside Edith Landreville and Candice Lidstone.

Plot:
Surrounded by her best friends and her estranged cousin, Jess sets out to have the most memorable bachelorette party ever. From limo rides to sexy dare games, this night has it all. But not everything is as it seems.

A few unexpected surprises turn her last day of freedom into something terrifying and unexpected. Now the girls must play a twisted game of dare cards in order to make it out alive…

Reviews:
“The horror aspects of the movie don’t creep in for some time, but the tension between the characters is pretty thick right from the start. When the film finally embraces the darkness, it does so in a big way. At that point, things become gruesome and even perverse in nature.” Indie Horror
