Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies – formerly Kudzu Zombies – is a 2017 American science fiction horror directed by Mark Newton (City of Darkness) from a screenplay by Christian Hokenson, based on a storyline by Stephan Stromer and Daniel Wood;

The movie stars Kaitlin Mesh, Miles Doleac, Michael Joiner, and Wyntergrace Williams.

Plot:

Lonnie, a crop duster pilot, must lead a mismatched group of survivors to escape the deadly zombie horde after an experimental chemical, intended to control the invasive Kudzu vine, transforms the citizens of Charleston, Mississippi, into zombies…

Release:

Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies was released by Gravitas Ventures on March 13, 2018, via Blu-ray, DVD and digital VOD.

The filmmakers have also released a computer game, a comic book and soundtrack tie-ins.
