But Deliver Us from Evil – USA, 2018

‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’

But Deliver Us from Evil is a 2018 supernatural horror film written, produced and directed by Joshua Coates. The 20/10 Visions Entertainment production stars Eric Roberts, Pooch Hall, Grant Harvey, and Alice Rose.

Lilith, Adam’s first wife according to Jewish mysticism, seeks revenge against all of God’s creations. God expelled Lilith from the Garden of Eden because of her refusal to obey Adam, the man. Scorned, she returns in present-day Atlanta as the succubus, who tempts men with their own sexual desires uses this tool to entrap her male victims…

“Probably one of the biggest problems was with Lilith and the performance thereof – actress Alice Rose tried her best, I’m sure, but simply did not have the presence to convince the viewer that she was an ancient evil looking to destroy the world and her performance lacked any nuance.” Taliesen Meets the Vampires
