‘Where sleeping bags become body bags!’
Killer Campout is a 2017 American slasher horror feature film directed, photographed and edited by Brad Twigg (Harvest of Horrors; WrestleMassacre; Frames of Fear) from a screenplay by James L. Edwards and Matt Hill, based on Twigg’s storyline.
The Fuzzy Monkey production stars Julio Bana Fernandez, Nadia White (Don’t F*ck in the Woods; Killer Waves), Chris O’Brocki (Ghoulish Tales; Fear of Clowns 2), Luba Hansen and Jenny Jannetty. Veteran genre actor George Stover and director John A. Russo (Midnight) have cameo roles.
Two youth counsellors bring a group of emotionally troubled teens deep into the woods for a weekend of solitude and confrontational therapy. The trip turns deadly when the group is terrorised by a cannibalistic hermit with a thirst for blood…
Killer Campout is released in February 2019 by Wild Eye Releasing under their ‘Wild Eye: Raw and Extreme’ imprint.
“Sure, it’s just another horror movie where a group of people head out to the woods to have some fun and unfortunately they all get sliced and diced so there’s nothing really original when it comes to the plot. Killer Campout does have a fun sense of humor and never takes itself seriously and the special effects look fantastic.” Alien Bee
” …this one has several on screen kills that takes the viewer back to the original run of slashers and what made them fun. We get some great practical effects, classic movie magic, and a lot of movie making tricks to pull them off. The kills are violent, bloody, and well shot. Most indie horror flicks could never pull these types of kills off like Twigg and company did.” Horror Society
“Brad Twigg most certainly did not have a lot of money, but his love for ’80s slashers shines through. If you like gore and boob-filled slasher films that don’t get bogged down with too much story, then I recommend you check out Killer Campout when it’s released.” Charlie Michael Cargile, Pop Horror
