Reviews:
“Acting is a dodgy prospect in most low budget horror movies, so it’s curious that this one should choose to spend so much time with child actors […] This generally consists of sullen glaring, screaming that is flat and screechy at the same time, and also totally unbearable. Not even Krampus can redeem his own movie, without even a bit of tinsel to get into the Christmas spirit. The CGI is bad, but then, everything is.” Nerdly
“I know I frequently rant about bad CGI, but this is some bottom of the barrel stuff. Even by 2015 standards, it’s awful. And the actual design of Krampus is very weak. It looks anorexic, or maybe it has a meth habit. If you’re going to go the CGI route at left make the creature look impressive. The little bit of gore in Krampus: The Reckoning is passable but that’s not nearly enough to carry the film.” Voices from the Balcony
