Avoid the Horror – advertising campaign, UK, 2015


Avoid the Horror was a British advertising campaign launched in January 2015 by conference call provider Powwownow.com that focused on the nightmare of commuting to work and travelling to meetings. The company was suggesting that rather than travelling to meetings, on often overcrowded transport, it’s easier to make a conference call.

The campaign, which ran for several weeks, was featured across several radio stations including Magic, Absolute, Capital London, LBC and Talk Sport.

Plus, there were ads on the London Underground, on taxis and at mainline rail stations.
