“The film was shot in such a way that it lent a great deal to the sense of both isolation and claustrophobia. Exterior shots tended to show wide open and rather desolate and unpopulated areas. Interior shots tended to create a sense of very tight spaces, often uncomfortably so …While such a confined setting could prove problematic in some cases, this story benefited greatly from its spatial limitation.” T. Love, Horror Fuel

“With a simultaneously confusing and simple plot, two generic horror heroines and one particularly reprehensible individual as your leads and just an all round feeling of tedium with sudden jolts of revolting unpleasantness, The Snare is simply a waste of time that you shouldn’t bother looking into.” Graeme Robertson, Flickering Myth

The Snare was a very taut movie. Solid performances, a claustrophobic atmosphere, and unsettling imagery helps come together to create a very effective and disturbing experience. I definitely recommend giving it a watch. Just don’t go looking for the next Evil Dead.” Charleston Picou, HorrorNews.net

“C.A. Cooper is a director to keep an eye on. Hopefully he will be making more films of this ilk as he definitely has a knack. A brutally disturbing watch best recommended to those with an iron clad gag reflex. And now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go scrub my brain out and try not to dream about maggots (again). Kudos for: Almost making me vomit?” Che Gilson, UK Horror Scene
