The film is notable as one of only two films in which 1980s ‘Scream Queens’ Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens and Michelle Bauer appear together.
The film also features Robin Stille (The Slumber Party Massacre; Vampire Knights), Andras Jones (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4; The Demolitionist; The Attic Expeditions), Hal Havins (Night of the Demons; Witchtrap) and George ‘Buck’ Flower (Suckula; Drive-In Massacre)
A much cheaper sequel-in-name-only, Sorority Babes in the Dance-O-Thon of Death, was directed by Todd Sheets and released straight-to-video in 1992.
On 13 June 2016, the film was released in the UK on Blu-ray by 88 Films.

Plot synopsis:
Two Tri-Delta sorority pledges are constantly being followed and spied on by three nerdy frat boys. The boys are soon caught sneaking into the sorority house by the den mother.
The pledges are then ordered to steal a trophy from a local bowling alley aided by the unwanted boys. An accident during the robbery causes the trophy to break open, releasing an evil imp who wreaks havoc with his supernatural powers. Three of the sorority girls become killers…
