Reviews:

“Director Kaare Andrews (The ABCs of Death) cuts back and forth between the Patient Zero plot and the Virus Island material in slick and well-paced fashion; again, nothing here is unique or revolutionary material but just when plot A starts to sag a little, we switch over to the back-story nastiness (the flick has some great gore) in plot B, and things get legitimately interesting once Cabin Fever 3 hits its third act.” Scott Weinberg, FEARnet

“Though the plot is convoluted, the twists predictable, and the overall storytelling incredibly bland, Patient Zero at least delivers copious amounts of bloodshed and moments of utter disgust. There are sex acts gone horribly wrong, half-naked rotting women having a cat fight, oversized sex toys used as weapons, and multiple instances of blood being vomited profusely.” Cliff Wheatley, IGN

” … the only reason to watch the movie, is Vincent Guastini. He’s the makeup effects creator and designer, and his work is fantastic. Highlights include a repulsive oral sex scene and a sequence that involves a hand, a gun, and a face. You have to see it to believe it. There’s a lot of blood and gore, and it looks incredible. If only it was supporting a better film.” Paul Doro, Shock Till You Drop

Cabin Fever: Patient Zero is an overly gory, absolutely bonkers good time that exemplifies “mindless horror cinema.” Gleefully gory, relentlessly unapologetic, and boasting a bloody, ferocious charm, Kaare Andrews challenges viewers to weather this choppy, disease-ridden storm – just don’t drink the water.” Matt Donato, We Got This Covered
